The city of Temuco will host Group A featuring Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia and Paraguay. Santiago will be the venue for Group B which consists of Argentina, Chile, Peru and Uruguay.
Looking ahead to the event, Chile coach Daniel Nejamkin said: "We are like all the teams that are coming to the tournament - finalizing details, addressing a few issues that have to do with our attack. Hopefully we can advance in this South American Championship and can get onto the podium. That is our goal, and we know it is an ambitious objective that we are proposing."

Brazil have also won all but one of the 31 South American Championship titles to date. Argentina claimed victory in 1964, when the Brazilians did not in participate in the tournament.
