One of the two friendly matches will be open to the public and be played at 17.30 (local time) on Sunday, September 2 at Paris-Coubertin.

Speaking to the French Volleyball Federation website earlier this month, Tillie said: "Serbia are among the favourites to win the World Championship, so it will again be two high-quality matches. We will have played some of the best teams in the world, and it's always very interesting to play against these teams. We tried to focus on quality during our preparation."

France take on Serbia this weekend after participating in the Hubert Wagner Memorial tournament last week claiming a victory against Canada after losses to Russia and hosts Poland. They will begin their World Championship campaign in Group B in Ruse, Bulgaria against Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt and the Netherlands. Their first match will be against China on September 12.

Serbia will take on Australia, Cameroon, Russia, Tunisia and USA in Men's World Championship Group C in Bari. They play the United States first on September 12.
