Other coaches have great players, I have a great team - Heynen

Turin, Italy, September 30, 2018 - An outstanding performance, a strong team identity and an even more strong bond between men: Poland's victory in the FIVB Men's World Championship was a collective wonder - the protagonists say. And Brazil take a bow to the champions, recognising their full merit.

Bartosz Kurek, Poland opposite and World Championship MVP: "I only care about our victory, and about this medal around my neck. We played great. We played better than any other team. We are proud, as we know our victory was well deserved."

Vital Heynen, Poland coach: "Simply, we kept playing and playing as the pressure rose. Other coaches have great players, I have a great team, able to play the very best match of the tournament in the Final. Thanks to my players and to my staff. We would not be champions without them."

Bruno Rezende, Brazil captain: "We might have won one set, the first, if our serve gave us a couple more chances, but I can't say if we could have won the match. Poland was the best, plain and simple. Congratulations to them."
