Lausanne, Switzerland, December 24, 2015 – Bulgaria was announced as one of the co-hosts of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2018 earlier in December and – alongside Italy – will welcome the tournament in three years’ time.
The country last hosted the World Championship more than 35 years ago in 1970. The hosts missed out on gold at the time, with East Germany winning their first ever title in Sofia in an epic five-setter- Here are the last few points from the match.
